Secure multiparty computation will allow for all of us to collaborate towards a common good while maintaining privacy of our sensitive individual data.
What is your background?
I got my PhD in cryptography and have continued to be fascinated by this subject. My primary research is in developing new secure multiparty computation protocols and zero-knowledge systemes.
What should we look out for in the next 5 years?
How to scale secure multiparty computation to perform machine learning tasks. This will allow for all of us to collaborate towards a common good while maintaining privacy of our sensitive individual data.

Duality.cloud: they are trying to use fully homomorphic encryption to achieve secure machine learning.
